Elizabeth “Liz” Updike, a Financial Advisor, has over 35 years of experience and provides her clients with the highest level of professional and personal service. Her practice can be defined as one which builds financial awareness through education and strategy. She engages with her clients to afford them the opportunity to achieve their lifestyle financial goals, to build and create a sustainable retirement, and to preserve their estates so that their hard-earned wealth is protected for generations to come.
Community Involvement: Liz is an active member of the local and international communities in the Virginia and DC metro area and is a past Board and Advisory Board volunteer for the Devotion to Children charity which provides education and childcare support for preschool age children and struggling families in Northern Virginia. Her family founded and created fundraising to build four Olivia’s Schools in Cambodia to educate impoverished children. She is active in her church community and founded her church’s endowment and investment committee.
Liz resides in Warrenton Virginia with her daughter Amelia, and has another grown daughter, Olivia, both whom were adopted from Vietnam and Cambodia and grew up in Northern Virginia. Liz enjoys walking and hiking with her two dogs Arrow and Bon Bon, golf, reading, and travel.
